Privacy policy
Who we are. Burleson Plumbing ("we") runs plumbingburleson.com and the phone line (817) 623-9614. Privacy contact: [email protected]. This policy was last updated in October 2026.
How the service works. Burleson Plumbing arranges plumbing service through independently owned companies. When you call (817) 623-9614, the plumbing company that serves your ZIP code answers, gives you a written estimate and does the work. That company, or a company that buys calls on its behalf, pays us a fee for the call.
What we collect. Phone calls: your phone number, the time and length of the call, your ZIP code and what you say about the job. Email: what you send to [email protected]. Website: our hosting provider handles your IP address and the pages you open so it can deliver the site and block attacks. Analytics: see Cookies and analytics below. The site has no forms.
Call recording. Calls may be recorded by the phone service that carries them, for quality, billing and to settle disputes. Where the law requires consent, you are told before recording starts, and staying on the call is your consent.
Cookies and analytics. This site uses Yandex Metrica, a web analytics service run by Yandex, to see how visitors use the site. It sets cookies and records page visits, clicks and scrolling, and it can replay a visit as a session recording of mouse movement and scrolling. Yandex may process this data on servers outside the United States and under its own terms. We do not use it to identify you. Analytics does not load when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. To turn it off, use the Turn off analytics button below, block cookies in your browser settings, or install the Yandex Metrica opt-out add-on from https://yandex.com/support/metrica/en/general/opt-out.html. Pages with a map show an embedded Google Map, and Google may set its own cookies when the map loads, under Google's privacy policy.
How we use it. To put your call through to the plumbing company that serves your ZIP code; to check call quality, prevent fraud and settle billing questions about calls; to answer your emails and privacy requests; to deliver the site, find faults and block attacks; and to see how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
Who we share it with. When you call, your phone number, ZIP code and what you say on the call go to the independently owned company that takes the call, and to a company that buys calls on its behalf where there is one. We are paid a fee for each call. Some state laws treat this as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We also use service providers: the phone service that carries and may record calls, the website host and the email provider, and Yandex for analytics. We disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell website data to advertisers.
Your rights. Depending on your state (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of its sale or sharing and of targeted advertising, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. California residents may also limit the use of sensitive personal information; we do not use any for that purpose. To make a request, email [email protected] with the phone number you called from and what you are asking for. We verify a request by matching that phone number and answer within 45 days. When we grant a deletion request, we delete what we hold, ask the phone service that keeps our call records to delete yours, and pass the request on to the companies that received your calls. An authorized agent may ask for you with your written permission. If we turn a request down, you may appeal by replying to our answer; we decide appeals within 60 days.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, email [email protected] with the subject "Do not sell or share" and the phone number you called from. Within 15 business days we record the opt-out against that number and pass it on to the phone service that carries our calls and to the companies that received your calls. This site treats a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out for data linked to that browser. The signal cannot identify your phone calls, so use email to opt out for those.
Calls, texts and do not contact. We do not make marketing calls, send marketing texts or buy phone lists. The company that takes your call may call or text you back about your job; you can tell it to stop at any time. To ask us to stop all contact, email [email protected] with the subject "Do not contact" and the phone number or email address to block. Within 10 business days we add it to our do-not-contact list and pass the request on to the companies that received calls from that number.
Keeping and protecting data. The phone service keeps call records (number, time, length, ZIP code and any recording) as long as they are needed to put calls through, check call quality, settle the fee for each call and resolve disputes, or longer where the law requires it. We keep privacy request emails for at least 24 months, as California's rules require. Hosting logs are deleted automatically within days. Yandex keeps analytics data under its own retention settings. We protect data with access controls and encrypted connections. No website or phone system is completely secure.
Children. The site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes. We post any change here with a new date. Questions: [email protected].
